It’s May Day! As you might have noticed we love celebrating the first of the months around here. But May 1st is by far our favorite. An ancient Scandinavian holiday in honor of Spring often comes with dancing around a May Pole or leaving May baskets on the doorstep of a good friend. And Mae just so happens to be the middle name of both co-founders

Because we can’t ignore the very real consequences of coronavirus we are going to continue to highlight some of the positive side effects: which is the reduction in global pollution resulting in prettier sights. Pictured above is the Grand Canal in Italy where the water is now running clear thanks to less boat traffic and decreased overall pollution in the city. Because we all slowed down our lifestyles, the earth is able to breathe better which so clearly demonstrates that our individual actions are critical, no matter how insignificant they may seem. Hungry? and still avoiding the grocery store? So are we! Which is why we are so excited to share a local resource offering home delivery of organic baked goods, farmers market veggies, locally raised meat and more. The Pig and the Plow out of Northern Colorado is an amazing alternative to the Farmer’s Market and a better source for food than the grocery store because you can trust that everything is truly locally sourced.
